As JSA Education approaches its 10th year of assisting families in reaching their goals of excellent educational opportunities, we would like to announce the addition of a new and very significant member to our team. Randi Dumont, a cherished member of the Groton School community for nearly a decade, has made a dual move of a professional change to JSA that coincides with her recent move to New York City.
As Head Educational Consultant, Randi will specifically lead JSA’s extension into our domestic educational services, while contributing to our unique success story with international families.
Randi’s skills and achievements dovetail beautifully with JSA’s foundational beliefs and like experiences. While originally a “public school kid” from the Great State of Maine, Randi’s athletic prowess, dynamic personality and superior deductive reasoning skills, even at a young age resulted in an acceptance of admissions to the St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts. Upon graduation from St. Mark’s Randi would matriculate to Middlebury College, where while blossoming academically, she performed as a four year starter on the women’s ice hockey team, rising to the level of captaincy and All-American in her senior year.
Randi’s tenure at Groton School, as a professional in the Office of Admissions, a Head of House, a coach and mentor, was a huge success. Additionally, she has made countless lifelong friendships during her time there, providing her with a cornerstone in both her personal and professional life. All these successes make her a logical fit for JSA Education, as a family company that looks to guide students towards ownership of their own educational experiences, while emphasizing the joys of learning and the importance of a well-rounded approach to life.
